Prams and Violins

There are lots of things that annoy me in this world. We'll start with my pet hate of the day: Prams. I don't mind normal prams, they can't be helped. But double baby prams?! Even worse double baby prams on a path so narrow only one person should be walking either way down it at any given time. I mean, I understand that some people want screaming little foetuses to coo over, but why have two so close together? Put a few years between them so one can at least walk before you're popping another one out. Jeez.
And the mothers don't stop to let you pass either. It's like, "I have children, I am more important than you and your destination."
Should also point out while I'm writing this another annoying thing is happening: the person in the flat below me has pulled out their lovely violin and is playing their scales for the trillionth time. Not sure if they are really bad at the violin or they just don't know how to tune it, but it just sounds like nails down a chalkboard... repeatedly. So I guess that is my next loathing - not violins in particular, but more people who don't know their own noise output: Stupidly loud music, playing instruments, and people leaving their alarm clocks on when they go out - all of the above are horrible when you live surrounded by other flats.
I guess I just have a thing against repetitive noises - the thumping bass of music, the beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeep of alarm clocks and the crap playing of violin.
And maybe some of you agree with my pet hates, maybe some of you just think I'm overreacting, and maybe I am. All I know for sure is I'm definitely not done with venting my frustrations to the internet.
It's only just begun.
